Terms of Service

Plain-language summary: CHAPPIE is a readiness and support tool, not a clinical service. Use it honestly and don't misuse it. We'll keep your data private and work hard to keep the service running. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CHAPPIE application (v2.mychappie.com) or the marketing website at mychappie.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Triarii LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

CHAPPIE is an operational AI assistant designed to help users organize their life, optimize performance, and navigate challenges. It provides readiness decision support, scheduling assistance, coaching, and crisis routing. CHAPPIE is:

You must be at least 18 years old to use CHAPPIE. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Use by active-duty military personnel may be subject to additional command and contract-specific policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and materials on CHAPPIE and mychappie.com are the property of Triarii LLC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit (journal entries, tasks, messages). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it to provide the service.

8. Privacy

Your use of CHAPPIE is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using CHAPPIE, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CHAPPIE is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any crisis routing will result in timely or effective assistance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Triarii LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or life, arising from your use of CHAPPIE.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Triarii LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Government and Enterprise Contracts

Where CHAPPIE is deployed under a government contract, the terms of that contract supersede these Terms to the extent of any conflict. Registered users under contract deployments are subject to their organization's data governance policies as well as these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to CHAPPIE at any time for violation of these Terms or at our discretion, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting info@mychappie.com. Upon termination, your license to use the service ends and we may delete your data consistent with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, except where prohibited by applicable law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
